Deep tissue massage in Olds
The workhorse treatment. Slow, deliberate, firm work into the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue — for chronic tension, desk-and-truck posture, work strain and long-standing knots that lighter massage doesn't reach.

Good for
Neck and shoulder tension · low back tightness · repetitive-strain aches from work · recovery from everyday injuries · that one spot between your shoulder blades.
What to expect
Your therapist starts with a short assessment, warms the tissue, then works progressively deeper. Pressure is a conversation, not a contest — you set the ceiling. Expect to feel worked the next day, in a good way. Drink water, move gently, and let it settle.
Frequently asked questions
Deep tissue or relaxation — which one do I need?
If you have a specific problem area or chronic tightness, deep tissue. If you're run-down and need to decompress, relaxation. Not sure? Book either and tell your therapist — treatments are adjusted to you, not the label.
How often should I come?
For a chronic issue, every 1–2 weeks until it improves, then monthly maintenance is common.
Can I claim this on my benefits?
Treatments are provided by Registered Massage Therapists, and receipts are issued for insurance claims. Yes — we direct bill Sun Life, TELUS eClaims, Alberta Blue Cross and Provider Connect insurers (including GreenShield). Bring your policy or member details to your first visit and we’ll handle it at the desk.
