Graston Technique® in Olds
Some tissue doesn't respond to hands alone. Graston Technique uses specially designed stainless steel instruments to work along muscle and fascia — the instruments transmit feedback through the therapist's hands, letting Tracy find and work restricted, ropey or scarred tissue with a precision that's hard to achieve any other way.

What to expect
Tracy warms the area first, then works over it with the instruments using controlled strokes. Most people describe a firm scraping sensation over the restricted spots, easing noticeably as the tissue releases. Some redness afterwards is common and settles on its own. It's often combined with hands-on massage in the same session, and pairs well with laser therapy.

Does Graston hurt?
It's intense in the restricted spots and comfortable elsewhere. Tracy adjusts pressure throughout and you set the ceiling — it should never be beyond what you can breathe through.
Why the redness afterwards?
Bringing blood flow to a treated area is a normal response to the work and typically fades within a day or two. Tracy will explain what to expect for your treatment.
Can it be combined with massage or laser?
Yes, and it often works best that way — instrument work on the specific problem area, hands-on work around it, and laser therapy alongside where appropriate.
